In 2014, Laganja began her musical career by contributing original vocals and rap lyrics to RuPaul's "Jealous of My Boogie," for the album RuPaul Presents: The CoverGurlz. One year later, Laganja released her own single "Legs," featuring internationally known rapper and actress Rye Rye. A tour de force of raw talent, “Legs” is a fast-paced dance track brimming with clever lyrics, culminating in what has been billed as the new pre-sex anthem. That same year, Laganja was featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 2 winner Alaska’s “Gimme All Your Money,” which has collected over 3 million listens. The track received rave reviews from Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, Huffington Post, and Jezebel.
From 2015-2016, Laganja dropped her second single, “Hot Box” and third single “Tease 4U.” She then released a Christmas Album with Haus of Edwards called A H.O.E. Xmas which featured her single “Green XXXMAS.”
In 2018, Laganja Estranja released her fourth single titled “Look at Me” featuring J. Tyler. The music video alone has gathered more than half a million views and the song itself has been streamed over one million times. Later that year, Estranja dropped her fifth single “Smoke Break.” In 2020, Laganja released her sixth single “Daddy” accompanied by her largest music video shoot yet. “Daddy” made headlines because of the sex positive message in what American Songwriter called the track “a bold expression of sexuality and lust, showing what it would be like to act on those feelings unabashedly (with cake and honey).”
In 2021, Laganja celebrated 4/20 with a new single, “Hypeman” which is a bold collision of queer artistry and high-energy club music. Part electric, part fierce, “Hypeman” is one of Laganja’s most danceable songs to date. Then, in the spirit of Halloween, Laganja channeled her inner Uma Thurman with a tribute to the iconic character Poison Ivy. Taking her own spin on the theme, Laganja released the spooky banger “Poison Ivy” exclusively with Entertainment Weekly as a way to celebrate her power and her connection to mother nature.
Most recently, Laganja Estranja's collaboration with LVCRFT on "Drip" was a milestone in her career. Their 90s diva house bop transformed spooky PRIDE festivities, leaving a lasting impression. Their partnership birthed a collection of captivating melodies, with "Kaleidoscopic Hues" as a standout track. This collaboration transcended borders, evoking deep emotions and gaining international acclaim. "Drip" showcased their artistic prowess and pushed boundaries in the music industry.
